介绍了中车公司生产轨道机车车辆的历史、能力和对当前我国城市轨道交通发展的展望，以及中车公司把发展城市轨道车辆，特别是地铁国产化作为２１世纪经济增长点的初步打算。
The history,capability of the LORIC to manufacture railway locomotives and rolling stock are described.The development of urban rail traffic in our country at present is envisaged.The preliminary intend of the LORIC to make the development of urban rail traffic,especially the nationalization of metro,as the economic increase point in the 21 st century is expressed.
