Atherosclerosis : Role of the scavenger receptor CD36

摘要 清道夫受体CD36参与脂质代谢、动脉壁炎性介质反应、巨噬细胞泡沫化及动脉粥样硬化(AS)斑块形成.巨噬细胞表面的CD36介导氧化低密度脂蛋白的入胞过程,导致巨噬细胞泡沫化,成为As发生发展的关键环节.CD36的表达调控机制已有新的认识,相关的药物研究已引起众多学者的关注.现主要就CD36参与动脉壁炎性介质反应、巨噬细胞泡沫化、AS斑块形成及其表达调控加以综述. CD36 is involved not only in the metabolism of lipids,but also in the inflammatory reaction,in the formation of foam cells and in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.Monocyte/macrophage CD36 has been shown to play a critical role in the development of atherosclerotic lesions by its capacity to bind and en-docytose oxidized low density lipoproteins(oxLDL),and it is implicated in the formation of foam cells.CD36 expression and regulation mechanism already provides a new understanding and the relevant drug research has attracted more attention of scholars.This article is to carefully review the importance of CD36 as an essential component in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.
