摘要
以语言研究的历史发展为主线对各个历史时期(古罗马,古希腊,中古时期,文艺复兴及其后)各语言学家关于语言本质的讨论,天赋论及普遍语法做了详尽论述,并重点介绍了乔姆斯基的普遍语法假说,从而解释了乔姆斯基的理论渊源和他对前人的批判继承。
The paper aims to elaborate Chomsky＇s Universal Grammar theory on the basis of the historical development of language studies over various historical periods（ancient Rome,ancient Greece,the Middle Ages,the Renaissance and after）.Research on the nature of language and the Innate Theory may leave a hint on the origin of Chomsky＇s UG theory and his critical inheritance of the previous studies.
