摘要
随着我国经济的迅猛发展和信息时代的来临,计算机技术和网络技术的日新月异,图书馆西文编目工作由传统的手工编目、计算机编目逐步向自动化、网络化、标准化的方向发展,对西文图书的需求增加,这必然对西文图书编目工作及编目人员提出新的要求.
With the rapid development of China＇s economy, information, computer and network technology, the western languages cataloging has changed from the traditional manual cataloging, computer cataloging to automated, network--based, and standardized cataloguing. The ever increasing demand for western languages literatures has brought forth new requirements on western languages cataloguing and personnel.
