摘要
专门用途英语(ESP)是一种针对特定学习者的特定需要实施英语教学,以学习者为中心的教学理念。课程目的明确,注重实际交际能力的培养,教学内容和形式因不同的教学对象和条件而不同。本文介绍了某大学开展博士生学术医学英语的教学改革,贯彻ESP"需求分析"、"真实性"、"以学生为中心"这三个原则的探索和实践。
English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is a learner-centered teaching approach in which English is taught focusing on learners' specific needs. The ability in real communication. Teaching contents objective of the course is pre-defined, with emphasis on the and methods vary with learners and settings. This paper introduces innovations in teaching PhD candidates academic medical English at a medical university that imple- mented the three principles of ESP: need analysis, authenticity and student-centeredness.
