Combining with the similarities between the development process of cities and the development process of organisms,the thesis discussed the problems faced in the protection of the urban historical blocks and discussed their causes,illustrated the organic characteristics of urban historical blocks,introspected the practical situation of the protection of urban historical blocks,so as to summarize the experience and laws in the process of protective planning for historical blocks.
