The thermodynamics of the extraction of palladium with 2 hydroxyl 4 sec n octyl diphenyloxime(N 530 ) from perchloric acidic medium was studied.By investigating the influences of temperature and [N 530 ] upon the distribution ratio D of Pd(Ⅱ),it is concluded that when the initial concentration of ClO - 4 is 0.1mol/L,the relationship between lgD and lg[N 530 ] at 25℃ can be represented as lg D =1.024lg[N 530 ]+2.752 and that when the initial concentration of [N 530 ] and pH are 1.0×10 -3 mol/L and 0.80 respectively,the relationship between lg D and 1/T can be shown as lg D=1634.1/T -5.276 The values of thermodynamic function at 25℃ are as follows: K=14.19 Δ G =-6.58kJ/mol Δ H =31.29kJ/mol Δ S =127.0J/mol·K.
