摘要
在读张玉金先生《谈今本〈老子〉中被删掉的虚词》一文时,笔者对张文示例7中"安"的词性和词义有不同意见。张先生认为"安"是表顺承关系的连词,而笔者则认为是表反问语气的副词。本文通过对两种用法的比较分析,并结合具体语境,认为在楚简《老子》的这段话中,"安"应当是表示反问的语气副词。
While reading the article On the Deleted Function Words in Traditional Editions of Lao Tzu by Prof.Zhang Yu-jin,I had different views on the part of speech and meaning of Chinese character "an(安)" illustrated in example 7.Prof.Zhang regarded "an(安)" as a conjunction expressing continuous relationship, but I thought "an(安)" as an adverb expressing a tone of asking rhetorical question.Based on the comparative analysis of the two usages with their own contexts, this paper presents that "an(安)" in Chu bamboo Slips Lao Tzu is actually an adverb expressing a tone of asking rhetorical question.
