摘要
NS-2(Netwok Simulator,version2)是一款开放源代码且免费的网络模拟软件,主要用于解决网络研究方面的问题。它具有面向对象和离散事件驱动的特点,可以完整的模拟整个网络环境。NS-2的安装容易出现各种问题,本文介绍了NS-2在Windows和Linux系统上的安装过程和要点,并实现了在这两个系统上的安装。通过比较得出,NS-2在Linux上的安装比较简单且出现问题少。
NS-2 is an open-source and free network simulation software which mainly solves matters about network research. It,drived by discrete events,has an object-oriented characteristic and completely simulate the whole network environments. The simulation of NS-2 has various problems,so the paper presents the process and key issues of simulation on the base of Windows and Linux system and achieve the installation. By comparison,we draw a conclusion that it is easy and has few problems to install the software on the base of Linux system.
