摘要
"诗中有画"、"画中有诗"所包含的诗画在功能上的互补性是它们不可或缺的美学内涵,然而两者在功能方面的意义一直未引起学界重视。从功能上讲,"诗中有画"主张诗歌应发挥绘画的愉悦情性的娱乐作用,它改变了诗唯雅正是尊的历史传统,避免了诗歌主题过于严肃、缺乏生活情味的弊端,体现了孔子"游于艺"的文艺功能思想。"画中有诗"则强调给绘画注入诗性特征,使绘画诗化、雅化,进而改善绘画在人们心目中的地位,以利于更好地发挥绘画的社会作用。
Function complement of poetry and painting each other is their indispensable aesthetic connotation, which can be illustrated by the common expression "painting in poetry and poetry in painting". But their respective functional meaning has never been stressed by academic circles. From function's perspective, "painting in poetry" implies that poetry, like painting, should be written for amusement, which prevents poetry from seriousness and lack of life interest and breaks the tradition that poetry's elegance is first and it also reflects Confucius' thoughts of literature and art for recreation. "Poetry in painting" implies that painting should be given to poetic quality so that painting is poetic and elegant in order to improve its rank in people' s eyes and play a social role.
