摘要
在中国近代探索带有中国风格新式建筑的道路上,墨菲的"中国古典建筑复兴"无疑扮演了先行者的角色。本研究试图将视野投向墨菲风格成型的转折点——金陵女子大学,从业主、建筑师和营造厂三个方面追溯其设计建造的背景,揭示墨菲"中国古典建筑复兴"的成因及其后来的影响。
Murphy and his ＂Adaptive Chinese Architectural Renaissance＂ undoubtedly played a vanguard role in the research of new-style buildings in modern period of China. This study issued from the Ginling College, the turning point of the transformation in Murphy＇ s professional career. Analysis the design and construction background through the client, the architect, and the construction company. To reveal the key-role played by the Forbidden City and Chen Mingji construction company, and the influence of Murphy and his ＂Adaptive Chinese Architectural Renaissance＂ .
