摘要
稀土元素在化学元索周期表中，为第六周期，属于镧系族及钪、钇共17种元索的总称。具有增加酶的活性、消除自由基、加速蛋白质合成、消炎镇痛、调节动物机体代谢等作用。近年来又发现在饲料中添加稀土，可以起到促进畜禽的生长性能、减少死亡率、调节免疫反应等生理作用，随着对稀土研究的深入，其在畜牧生产中的应用必将发挥积极的作用。
Rare - earth element lies in sixth period among periodic table of chemical element and includes the 15 elements of lanthanides and elements scandium （So） and yttrium （Y）. Rare earth element can increase activation of enzyme, eliminate free radical, accelerate composition of protein, diminish inflammation and ease off pain and regulate metabolism of animal organism. In recent years, we find that rare earth element as feed additive can promote growth of animals, reduce rate of mortality, regulate the immune response etc. With the deep research of rare earth element, its application will play a positive role in animal husbandry.
