摘要
《忒拜之歌》这个已经几乎失传的文字与同为史诗的《荷马史诗》有明显的差别,从这些差别中,可以分析出《荷马史诗》之所以流传千古的真正原因所在,也可以看到一部影响西方文明的经典作品内在的分量,即《荷马史诗》注重创作题材与"人"的关联性,让就算时隔千年的读者,也能从中仿佛看到自己的影子,而这正是亚里士多德《诗学》中提到的一条创作原则,也与"诗可以兴"的古训不谋而合,为我们呈现了经典之为经典的一项重要的诗性智慧所在。
The Thebais, an almost lost epic, is different from the Homeric Epic. This analysis, based on these differences, tries to find out the key reasons of the popularity ot the ftomeric Epic, and understand the importance of the Homeric Epic. In the Honwric Epic, the author fouscs on the people to make the readers see their own shadows through the fence of time. The Poetic of Aristotle has also emphasized this fact which is as same as the Chinese principle of Xin. And all these have offered us an important rule that make a work bcome classieal.
