摘要
保偏光纤(PMF)存在两个偏振主轴(快轴与慢轴),在两段光纤熔接时存在慢轴的对轴角,这个角度的存在直接影响到光纤中传输光的偏振特性。文中从实验方面研究了慢轴对轴角对偏振态的影响,研究表明,保偏光纤的慢轴对轴角越大,对偏振态的影响就越大。
The Polarization Maintaining Fiber(PMF) has two polarization axis (fast axis and slow-axis). The slow-axis angle exists when two optical fibers fuse. This angle has a direct impact on the optical transmission polarization characteristics. This article studies the effect of slow-axis on polarization by experiments. It is shown that the larger the slow-axis angle of fibers is, the greater impact it has on polarization.
