摘要
本文提出了一种新的基于分形的图像编码改进算法,该算法结合小波变换多分辨率分析的特点,对分解后的高层子图像进行基本分形编码,根据不同层子图像之间的相似性,由高层分形编码构造低层子图像分形编码,同时根据不同方向子图的纹理特征不同,采用不同形状的块进行分形预测,实现图像压缩。实验证明,这种改进算法能够大大缩短分形编码的时间,并取得较高的压缩比。
A new image coding improved algorithm based on fractal is proposed in this paper. The algorithm combined the feature of multi-resolution analysis of wavelet transformation .And it processes basic fractal coding to the high-level subimages. Then according to the likeness of structure between different level subband images, we construct the low-level fractal codes with the high ones. During the fractal coding, we apply the fractal predicting by the different block size according to the different texture feature of different orientation subimages. The experimental results indicate that the improved algorithm can decrease the fractal coding time greatly and achieve a higher compression rate.
