摘要
针对视频编码中运动估计过程计算复杂的问题,提出一种快速运动估计算法.在运动估计过程中,采用部分失真搜索算法,减少失真计算量,同时结合全零检测策略,在进行部分失真搜索过程中,通过对视频编码中量化后的DCT系数全零块进行预先判断,提前终止搜索,进一步减少搜索计算量,从而提高运动估计效率.实验结果表明,对局部微小变化的图像序列,算法对图像质量影响较小,算法搜索速度提高明显,对于局部变化较剧烈的图像序列,算法在保证图像序列质量的情况下,也能够在一定程度上提高搜索速度.
To reduce computational complexity when estimating motion while encoding video, a fast motion estimation algorithm was proposed. In the process of estimating motion, a partial distortion algorithm was used to reduce the computational intensity of the distortion calculation. During the partial distortion search process, an all-zero detection strategy was also used to terminate the search process early, further reducing the computational load of search terms by prejudging all-zero blocks of the quantified discrete cosine transform (DCT) coefficients in video coding. Both methods enhanced the efficiency of motion estimation. Experimental results showed that the algorithm has little impact on image quality and improves search speed significantly for image sequences containing few changes. Even with image sequences containing dramatic changes, the algorithm can improve search speed somewhat and ensure quality.
