摘要
以同处经济不发达地区的四所西部高校发展新闻传播学科的经验和西安交大已经打下的教学科研基础为论述支撑,认为西安交大在新闻传播学科创建西部特点、西部特色、西部地位的时机已经成熟,应着重以研究优势推动专业发展,以媒介经营管理人才培养为突破口,以文理工课程融合彰显特色,以学术平台为依托扩大影响。
Is it needed for Xi＇an Jiaotong University to develop the news communication discipline？ How to develop？ What influences will be brought to the disciplinary construction and specialty arrangement of the university？ With the experiences in the development of the news communication discipline of four institutions of higher learning in the same eco- nomically underdeveloped western regions of China as ours, and the teaching and research foundation we have already laid down as the expounding basis, it is held that the chance to establish the characteristics, special features and the position in the Western Regions have got mature. It is stressed to use the research advantages to impel the development of specialty, the fostering of the media operational and managerial ciplines of liberal arts, science and engineering to demonstrate personnel as the new breakthrough, the fusion of the dis- specific features and to expand external influences with the academic platform. It is of key importance to consider the situation, keep forging ahead with keep determination, grasp the chance right now and exert all efforts to push the goal ahead.
