摘要
语言能够真实地反映一种社会习俗及价值观念,而谚语更是浓缩了文化的内涵。通过对英汉谚语的对比来揭示性别歧视现象更具有广泛的代表性和极强的说服性。拟从不同角度对英汉谚语进行对比来研究性别歧视现象。
Language could give us a vivid reflection of social customs and values; and proverbs are actually a pure concentration of the entire content of culture. Thus proverb is a more representation and more persuasive perspective to study sexual discrimination. The paper specializes in sexual discrimination reflected in English and Chinese proverbs from different perspectires.
