摘要
以从APMP制浆废液中分离的半纤维素为原料,将其用醚化剂阳离子化后用于纸张物理性能的增强。结果表明,阳离子半纤维素的最佳制备条件是醚化剂用量为100%、NaOH用量为6%(均为对半纤维素绝干质量比)、反应时间为4 h和温度为65℃,此时得到取代度为0.08的季铵型半纤维素。采用红外光谱对改性前后半纤维素的结构进行表征。改性后的季铵型半纤维素对阔叶木浆、针叶木浆以及OCC纸浆均具有明显的增强作用。
In this study,the hemicellulose,separated from P-RC APMP pulping spent liquor,was modified through etherifying reaction to prepare cationic quaternary ammonium type hemicelluloses with different degrees of substitution(DS).Some key factors influencing the modification were determined,including the dosages of etherifying agent and catalyst,reaction temperature and time,etc.Further,the cationic hemicellulose was used to improve the pulp strength.The results showed that cationic hemicellulose with a relatively high DS of 0.08 can be obtained when the optimum conditions are as follows: mass ratios of cationic etherifying agent to hemicellulose and catalyst to hemicellulose are 100% and 6%,respectively;the reaction temperature is 65℃ and the reaction time was 4 h.Further,the structures of unmodified and modified hemicellulose were characterized by FT-IR spectrum.The strength properties of hardwood kraft pulp,softwood kraft pulp and OCC can be improved significantly with the application of cationic hemicelluloses.
