摘要
随着电子信息技术的发展,电子护照由于其自身较高的防伪性和良好的机读能力,已逐渐取代传统的纸质护照成为全球通用的公民身份凭证。从智能卡技术的角度详细分析电子护照所具有的安全机制,着重对国际民用航空组织(International Civil Aeronautical Organization,ICAO)要求的被动认证、主动认证和基本访问控制等安全机制进行了探讨,阐述了各安全机制的具体实施过程及保证护照内容真实性和完整性的机理。
With the development of electronic information technology,the e-passport has gradually replaced the conventional paper passport and become the globally-used citizen identification card,owning to its high anti-falsification and good machine-readable ability.In this paper,the security mechanism of the e-passport based on smart card technology is deeply analyzed.Authentication and access control mechanisms specified by ICAO are mainly explored.The specific implementation of each security mechanism and the mechanics to ensure the authenticity and integrity of the e-passport are also presented.
