市场经济具有多方面因素所决定的复杂性,且这种复杂性呈现出复杂化的趋势。市场经济发展功能的实现依赖于能在多大程度上建立起应对市场经济复杂性的机制体系,完善市场经济制度的努力方向自然蕴含其中。个人利益是市场经济的本源,社会利益是市场经济的深化和扩展;不确定性通过经济主体尽可能追求确定性的努力而降低,各类"冗余"性安排使社会具有更大的主动权;经济主体及其行为是动态均衡的微观基础,借助社会性力量可以实现短期和长期的均衡;知识的利用、传递、整合和扩展通过一系列社会形式实现,由此增加了应对市场经济复杂性的能力。
