随着科学技术知识资源在经济社会生活中地位和作用的日趋重要,以知识和智力作为主要资源的科技服务业获得了空前发展。"双转型"与"双升级"越来越要求城市在服务功能、水平和质量上知识化、高级化。作为省会城市,广州有着不可比拟的人才、产业等发展优势,理应成为广东省、华南地区,乃至全国的知识型城市。
With scientific and technologieal knowledge resources being increasingly important in economic and social life, science and technology services which rely on knowledge and intellectual resources have gained unprecedented development. The policies of ＂double transformation＂ and ＂double upgrade＂ are demanding much more functional and high-quality services. As a capital city, Guangzhou has incomparable advantages in talent, industry and other areas. Therefore, it should become the knowledge-based city of Guangdong Proyince, of South China and of the whole nation.
