摘要
国际金融危机的冲击使世界经济进入重大结构性调整时期。中央、国务院明确提出要加快经济发展方式的转变,这是当前和今后我国面临的重大战略任务。本文以广州开发区的实践为基础,对实施"双提升"战略在转变经济发展方式的作用进行了探索和研究。
The global financial crisis has led the world into dramatic structural reform. As proposed by the Central Committee of CPC and the State Council, transforming the nation＇ s economic development modes is and will be a crucial strategic task for China. Based on the economic development of Guangzhou Development District, the paper analyzes the core functions of advancing industrial competitiveness and enhancing innovation （literally referred to as ＂double promotion＂ in Chinese） in the process of transforming economic development modes.
