摘要
学科建设是高等院校工作的龙头，由于省属高校的特殊性，在其发展中，应注重加强特色优势学科的建设，这样有利于学术梯队建设和造就优秀的学科带头人，有利于促进科研水平的提高，有利于人才培养和教学建设，有利于学位点创建，有利于增强学校办学实力和提高学校社会地位，有利于学校的可持续性发展。加强特色优势学科建设在省属高校发展中占有非常重要的地位。甘肃农业大学动物遗传育种与繁殖博士学位授权点在其学科发展建设中，坚持特色研究、发挥学科优势，为学校发展作出了积极贡献。
Discipline construction is the core of the colleges and universities. As the peculiarity of the Provincial ones, consideration should be taken to the distinctive discipline construction and thus it may be useful for the construction of the academic echelon and for the groWth of the excellent academic leader, for the promotion of the scientific research level, for the culturing faculty and teaching construction, for the construction of the Master's and Doctoral program, for the enhancing of the capacity of university and for the improving of the status of university. Strengthening the distinctive discipline construction may play very important role in the development of provincial colleges and universities.The Ph. D program of Animal Breeding and Genetics and Animal Reproduction of Gansu Agricultural University persists it distinctive research aspects and gives full play to discipline advantage on it way of development and by which to contribute to the development of the university.
