It is required to use instrumentation cable for intrinsically safety system in the explosive hazardous places, such as petrochemical, mining and gas projects. This paper presents the design and development of instrumentation eable for intrinsically safety system, the test method for shielding inhibition coefficient and tile main properties of the product. It also proposes preparation of the standard as soon as possible of this kind of cable so as to standardize the market and guide its development.
