利用Ｅ－Ｒ模型对一个数据库管理系统进行概念设计并进行优化处理的方法和过程，对数据冗余的产生和消除作了较为详细的分析和论证。
Describes a method and all steps that the authors conceptually design and optimize a practical database management system by use of E-R model. Producing and eliminating of data redundancy are analyzed and demonstrated in detail, so the optimized result is more practical.
