摘要
如何完善历史唯物主义是当代马克思主义寻求发展所面临的一个时代课题。西方马克思主义者一贯的理论目标就是要清除经济决定论的消极影响,从而进一步完善马克思主义的社会革命理论及其主体学说。在理论与现实的不断冲撞中,他们抓住意识形态问题,提出日常生活批判,开展文化研究,由此形成了一个"文化的转向",在深入开掘历史唯物主义的文化维度方面取得了显著的理论成果。
How historical materialism can be perfected？ Or in other word, how the cultural dimension of historical materialism can be developed？ This is a question which should be tackled for contemporary Marxism. One theoretical aim of ＂Western Marxism＂ is to remove the passive influence of ＂economic decision theory＂ in order to improve the social revolutionary theory and its theory of subject of Marxism; in the conflict between theory and reality, they grasp the ＂ideological issue＂, put forward ＂everyday criticism＂ and carry out ＂cultural study＂, resulting in the formation of a ＂cultural turn＂. ＂Western Marxism＂ achieves a lot in probing into the cultural dimension of historical materialism, these theoretical achievements provide us with many resources of ideas, the view and method of which is quite inspiring. Without new train of thought or new method, our theoretical exploration can not make any progress.
