摘要
讨论了1980－1995年珠江三角洲地区7个主要城市在城市化进程中耕地面积的变化特点；分析了城市化发展的不同阶段以及不同速度与耕地面积减少之间的关系。以耕地面积减少系数为主要指标，总结出珠江三角洲地区基于耕地资源利用特征的4种城市化模式。研究发现，部分城市出现的耕地资源过度消耗现象，不应简单地归因于城市化发展，而主要与当地城市发展规划和管理工作不力有关。
There are some different issues on correlation between urbanization development and decrease of cultivated land area at present. The Pearl River Delta Economic Zone (PRDEZ) is one of the fastest urbanization regions in China since reform and opening to the outside world. The levels of urbanization rose from 28.4% to 46.0% in PRDEZ from 1980 to 1995. The PRDEZ consists of 7 major cities-Guangzhou,Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Foshan. The characteristics of the main 7 cities on the changes of the cultivated land in the processes of rapid urbanization from 1980 to 1995 are discussed. The mations of the stages, the rates of urbanization and the las of cultivated land area are analyzed in detail. The Coefficient of Cultivated Land Land Decrease C was introduced and used as the quantitative index to describe the concentrate degrees of cultivated land use in the process of urbanization.By using the Coefficient C as a basic index, 4 models of urbanization in the PRDEZ are established,which are based on the characteristics of the cultivated land use in the process of urbanization. 1) Shenzhen Medel: C≈1, high rate of urbanization, high economic benefit of land use; 2) Dengguan Model: C>1,low rate of urbanization, low economic benefit of land use; 3) Jiangmen Medel: C≈1, middle rate of urbanization, low economic benefit of land use; 4) Zhuhai Model: C<1, high rate of urbanization, middle economic benefit of land use. Besides urbanization development, the main reason for some cities to over use and waste cultivated land is the defect in land planning and management.
