摘要
"以意逆志"与英美新批评虽产生于不同的时间与空间,但两者仍有比较的必要。英美新批评因为"以意逆志"没能在中国站稳脚跟。人本主义的"以意逆志"是一种既重视内容又重视形式的批评方式,它完整包括了作者、文本、读者三环节,而新批评是一种单一的"从形式到形式的批评"。英美新批评的文本主义有其可取之处,但由于自身理论与实践的漏洞和相互攻击,最终走向衰落,而"以意逆志"自从产生后就从未退出过历史舞台。
＂Seeking for the intention behind the surface meaning＂ and Anglo-American New criticism appeared at different times and in different spaces,but it is still necessary to make a comparison and contrast between them. Because of the existence of ＂Seeking for the intention behind the surface meaning＇and Anglo-American New Criticism lost its ground in China. The humanistic ＂Seeking for the intention behind the surface meaning＇is a criticism of stressing both contents and form,which includes author,text in New Criticism has its merits, but due to its flaws in its own theories and practices it declined,whereas ＂Seeking for the intertion behind the surface meaning＂ has never withdrawn from the historical stage since it was born.
