Detection and localization of sentinel lymph node with breast cancer using ultrasound

摘要 前哨淋巴结(sentinel lymphnode,SLN)是指原发肿瘤引流区域中第一级接受淋巴引流的淋巴结。1994年Giuliano等在乳腺癌外科治疗引用SLN的概念,首创了乳腺癌术中淋巴结定位和前哨淋巴结活检(sentinel lymph node biopsy,SLNB)技术。乳腺癌SLNB是乳腺外科领域的一个极具意义的进展,也是当前乳腺外科领域的一个热点。其意义在于对SLN阴性的乳腺癌患者可以免去腋窝淋巴结清扫(axillary lymph node dissection),从而减少和避免腋窝淋巴清扫所带来的相应并发症,提高患者的生活质量。国内外学者在SLN的定位、示踪和淋巴结活检技术方面进行了大量的研究,使得此方法日趋完善。
