The Ideal and Reality of Preschool Inclusive Education:A Case Study Based on an Autistic Child

摘要 本研究旨在了解幼儿园实施融合教育的过程与困扰,幼儿教师、家长对融合教育的态度,以及特殊幼儿本身的融合状况等。研究对象为一所招收特殊幼儿的私立幼儿园。收集资料的方法有访谈、观察记录与文件收集。研究结果显示,实施融合教育动机在于园长、家长认识到融合教育对特殊幼儿的益处。另外还发现,幼儿并没有真正融入到班集体中,普通幼儿老师要实施融合教育还缺少必要的专业能力。在融合教育的实施与困扰方面发现,缺少社会和法律支持;幼儿教师与特教机构需更多的合作以促进融合教育的成功。 This study elucidates the process and difficulty of implementing an inclusive education program in a private preschool, and the attitude of staff and parents to inclusive education. Data are collected through interviews, observations and documents. Interviews indicate that the preschool administrators and parents believe that the disabled children benefit from the inclusive program. Study results reveal that the disabled children have not been really included, and the ability levels of preschool teachers of special education are generally low. Implementing an inclusive education program requires more social support and legal compliance. Preschool teachers need more cooperation with special education teachers to help the disabled children in the inclusive setting.
