摘要
连续媒体(CM),只有数据量大及实时约束的本质特征。诸如视频编辑等的多媒体应用也正日益推广。这类应用要求在保持存储灵活性的同时,又能进行自由访问。文章提出<X,P>存储方式,<X,P>存储方式要求在一个柱面上任意放置P个连续块并有两个以上的缓冲区,它仍能在块间自由访问。
In addition to the large data size and real-time constraint in continuous media(CM),CM applications such as video editing have been popularizing.These applications require both flexibility on placement and random access. The paper adopts <x,p> Placement scheme. The <x,p> Placement requires that p blocks are stored randomly in each cylinder and more than two buffers. This scheme provides random access between blocks.
