摘要
下一代Internet将面临高速交换、服务质量保障等方面的挑战。从未来高速交换设备和通信子网性能测试与评价相关的问题出发,以四川省网络通信技术实验室提出的"协同多点并发穿越测试法"(CMPC-TTM)和开发中的"分布式协同多点并发测试系统"(DCMC-TS)为背景,对路由器和通信子网的"协同多点并发测试"技术进行了较为详细的讨论。初步测试实验表明:CMPC-TTM是一种通用的网络测试法,特别适合下一代高速网络和路由/交换设备的性能测试;基于CMPC-TTM的DCMC-TS比将多个直接测试器(DTC)寓于同一主机的现有测试系统优越,适应范围更广,具有更大的灵活性。
Next generation Internet is facing challenges such as high-speed switching and QoS provisioning. This paper addressed performance testing and evaluation issues relevant to future high-speed switching devices and subnetworks. A generic test method called Coordinated Multi-Point Concurrent-Transverse Test Method (CMPC-TTM) introduced by SC-Netcom Lab was discussed. A prototype of the Distributed & Coordinated Multi-Point Concurrent - Test System (DCMC-TS)under development based on CMPC-TTM was used as example for multi-point testing techniques. Preliminary test results with DCMC-TS show that CMPC-TTM is a versatile test method for future network testing and DC- MC-TS is superior over existing approaches, with which multiple implementations of TTM (DTC) is hosted in a single machine.
