摘要
"紧凑城市"是目前以欧洲为主的西方发达国家研究如何控制城市蔓延、促进城市可持续发展的代表理论之一,在我国提倡建设资源节约型、环境友好型社会的背景下引起关注。本文从城市设计的专业特征角度出发,分析它在我国紧凑城市构想实现中所具有的优势——化解高密度与适居性之间的矛盾、应对立体思维与系统整合的诉求,进而探讨其作为——优化空间形态结构、提高空间使用效率、改善空间环境质量,以获取该理念在我国实现的技术手段。
Compact City is one of representative theories to control urban sprawl and promote urban sustainable development in nowadays western developed countries, especially in Europe. It is now paid more attention in China because of the advocacy of Conservation-Minded and Environment-Friendly Society. This paper tries to analyse the advantages of urban design in achieving compact city theory in China from its subject characteristics angle, which is coordinating the contradiction between density and livability, and meeting the demand of three- dimensional thinking and system integration; then discovers what urban design can do, which is optimizing morphological structure, increasing spatial utilization efficiency and improving environment quality.
