摘要
介绍了现代地理信息系统软件发展的组件化趋势,研究了基于A ctiveX技术可编程控件M apX的主要功能和开发方法。以校园地理信息系统开发过程为实例,阐述了使用M apX+VB开发G IS软件的方法、步骤和应注意的问题。系统实现结果表明,M apX是一个具有强大地图功能的A ctiveX控件,利用它可以简单、灵活、高效地开发中小型地理信息系统。
The paper introduces the component trend of modern GIS softwares and shows the details of MapX including its main functions as well as developing methods. Taking the development of school-GIS as an example,it states the means of developing GIS softwares using MapX plus VB, further explains its steps together with problems which should be noted. The result indicates that MapX is a strong mapping ActiveX control. And mid-size and mini-size GIS can be developed easily, flexibly, effectively by utilizing MapX.
