Digital blood pressure monitors allow physicians to diagnose hypertension (high blood pressure) and help their patients keep it under control. Portable blood pressure monitors help in the early diagnosis and control of hypertension by allowing patients to cost-effectively run tests and measurements at their own homes without having to visit a physician.This paper introduces Freescale's blood pressure monitor reference design RDQE128BPM.
