党的十七届四中全会提出,要推进"马克思主义的中国化、时代化、大众化",这是马克思主义保持生命力、在当代中国发挥应有指导作用的重要途径。在把当代中国马克思主义最新成果大众化的过程中,要体现马克思主义的本质要求,使大众化坚持马克思主义;要有中国特色,使马克思主义中国化;要有世界视野,体现时代精神,使马克思主义时代化;要把马克思主义中国化的最新成果有效转化为中国人民的自觉价值追求,使马克思主义真正大众化。
At the Fourth Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee our Party laid down the policy 'to further sinonize, contemporarize and popularize Marxism', which is an important way to maintain the vitality of Marxism and play its guiding role in contemporary China. In the process of popularizing the latest achievement of Marxism in the contemporary China, we should embody the essential requirements of Marxism to make the masses adhere to Marxism; adapt Marxism to conditions in China to maintain its Chinese characteristics; have a world vision reflecting the spirit of the times to make the Age of Marxism; convert effectively the latest achievements of Marxism in China into the conscious value pursuit of Chinese people to truly popularize Marxism.
