食管鳞癌神经浸润的临床病理学意义及其与COX-2蛋白关系

The clinicopathological significance of perineural invasion in esophageal squamous carcinoma and its relationship with protein of COX-2

摘要 目的研究食管鳞状细胞癌发生神经组织浸润的临床病理意义及其与环氧合酶-2(COX-2)蛋白表达的关系。方法复习91例食管鳞状细胞癌的组织常规切片,并通过免疫组织化学染色检测肿瘤组织中COX-2蛋白的表达,研究食管鳞状细胞癌的神经组织浸润与性别、组织学分化程度、肿瘤浸润深度、淋巴结转移和临床分期等生物学行为以及COX-2蛋白表达的关系。结果食管鳞状细胞癌神经组织浸润的发生率为45%。神经组织的浸润与肿瘤的浸润深度、淋巴结转移和临床分期均呈正相关(P分别为0.013、0.000和0.004,r分别为0.29、0.41和0.30),与性别、组织学分化程度和COX-2蛋白的表达均无关(P分别为0.119、0.097和0.861)。结论食管鳞状细胞癌的神经组织浸润与肿瘤的浸润深度、淋巴结转移和临床分期等生物学行为密切关系,可能与COX-2蛋白的表达无关。 Objective To investigate the clinicopathological significance of the perineural invasion in esophageal squamous carcinoma and its relationship with the expression of cyclooxygenase-2 protein(COX-2).Methods The traditional paraffin sections of 91 esophageal squamous carcinoma tissues were reviewed.The expression of cyclooxygenase-2 protein(COX-2)in tumor tissue was detected with immunohistochemical staining.The relationship among the perineural invasion in esophageal squamous carcinoma with sex,the degree of histologic differentiation,the depth of tumor invasion,the metastasis of lymph node and the clinical stage were investigated.Results The rate of the perineural invasion in esophageal squamous carcinoma was 45%.There was positive relationship among the perineural invasion with the depth of tumor invasion and the metastasis of lymph node and the clinical stage(P was 0.013,0.000 and 0.004,respectively.r was 0.29,0.41and 0.30,respectively).There was no relationship among the perineural invasion with sex and the degree of histologic differentiation and the expression of cyclooxygenase-2 protein(P was 0.119,0.097 and 0.861 respectively).Conclusion There was positive relationship among the perineural invasion with the depth of tumor invasion and the metastasis of lymph node and the clinical stage but it may has no relationship with the expression of cyclooxygenase-2 protein.
