摘要
在分析形象、表象和意象概念基础上,通俗地阐明什么是形象思维。还论述形象思维的两种特性:形象性、普遍性;五种功能:感觉、记忆、识别,表达抽象知识,理解抽象知识,理论创新,技术创新。指出在人们的思维活动中,抽象思维与形象思维互相依赖,相辅相成。
This paper vulgarly explains what imaginal thinking is based on analying the definitions of image. It also discusses two characteristics （imagery and universality）, five functions （feeling, memory, discernment, expressing abstract knowledge, comprehending abstract knowledge, theoretical innovation and technological innovation of imaginal thinking. It is also pointed oat that abstract thinking and imaginal thinking are permeated and interacted in people＇s thinking activities.
