摘要
冀谷14号是从陕西农家种“绿穗谷”经^(60)Co辐射后的优良变异中选育而成,该品种中秆,具有根系发达、高抗倒伏、抗旱、兼抗多种病害等优点。1994～1996年在5省累计推广25.5万hm^2,其中1996年在河北推广11.8万hm^2,占河北夏谷面积的51％,1994年创造了8649kg/hm^2的河北省夏谷单产新纪录,是当前夏谷主栽品种。本文从冀谷14号的选育出发,对夏谷高产育种中的一些问题进行了探讨。
New summer millet variety'Jigu 14'was selected from the radiomutants of Shaanxi local variety 'Lusuigu' radiated with 60Co. The variety is of middle height with a strong root system, highly resistant to lodging, drought, and major diseases. From 1994 to 1996, totally it has been extend for 255 000 hm2 in five provinces. It was extended for 118 000 hm2 in 1996 in Hebei, which occupied 51% of the total summer millet area in Hebei. In 1994, it recorded a maximum grain yield of 8 649 kg/hm2 for summer millet in Hebei. Currently, it is the leading summer millet variety in Hebei.
