2009年，全球3G市场进入全面发展阶段，移动终端产业也迎来发展的关键时刻。一方面，硬件平台的日趋强大使移动终端能够承载的功能不断丰富，各种新型终端更是层出不穷，终端产品的形态与几年前相比发生了质的变化。另一方面，随着产业价值从产品向服务的转型，终端产业的主导者也在发生变化，特别是，除了原有的整机厂商以外，运营商、软件提供商和各种服务提供商也在积极探索，寻找适合自身优势的终端发展路径。在多方力量的共同作用下，移动终端产业正在进入一个不断变革又充满生机的发展阶段。
With the global 3G market entering into its full-blown phase, mobile device sector is at the key point of development. On one hand, the hardware platform is more and more powerfully developed, which accordingly enriches the features that mobile devices can offer. With the flourishing of new types of devices, the patterns of such products have been transformed compared with those years earlier. On the other hand, while the industry value shifting from product to service, the leadership of the value chain is also in changing: operators, software providers and other service providers besides manufacturers are all on their own grope for developing devices playing to their respective strengths. With the interaction among all players and forces, mobile device industry is entering an exuberant phase filled with constant changes and innovations. Recently Teleinfo of CATR, MIIT has made a tracking research on global mobile device market which analyzes current situation of the global market and summarizes trends of the industry resulted by interaction of all links of the industry value chain to make a prediction of the future development of the industry in terms of technology, market, business model and industry cooperation patterns.
