液晶功能化多壁碳纳米管的研究

摘要 采用金属还原多壁碳纳米管(MWNTs)的方法,通过一步反应将2-溴甲基-N,N’-双(4-取代苯甲酰)对苯二胺液晶(LC)分子腰接到MWNTs的侧壁,制备出LC功能化的MWNTs(LC-MWNTs).拉曼和红外测试结果证实LC分子经共价键接枝到MWNTs的侧壁,透射电镜观察显示MWNTs表面包覆了一层3~5nm的LC分子.热重分析测试表明LC分子在MWNTs上的接枝率约为23%,LC-MWNTs在DMF中显示良好的分散稳定性. A novel nanocomposite (LC-MWNTs) of the liquid crystal (LC) molecules' waist positions anchored on the surface of multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) was prepared by using a dissolving metal reduction method. The formation of the LC-MWNTs composite is confirmed by both Raman and FT-IR spectroscopy. HRTEM demonstrates that the LC molecules are anchored on the surface of MWNTs via covalent linkage, with a wrapped thickness approximately 3-5 nm. The loss-weight fraction of the LC layers for the LC-MWNTs can be roughly estimated as 23% by TGA. The experiments of solubility exhibit that the LC-MWNTs forms a stable suspension solution in polar solvents such as dimethylformamide.
