摘要
H.264/AVC是当前流行的视频编码标准,具有出色的编码性能,但在复杂度方面有所欠缺。提出了一种低复杂度的编码算法,以数学模型取代复杂熵编码,简化代价函数的计算,从而节省最佳预测模式的选择时间。算法基于JM8.6实现,实验结果表明,对于典型的视频序列,算法复杂度比JM8.6显著降低,大约可节省43.37%的时间,与已有的优化算法相比复杂度有进一步降低,同时保证PSNR和比特率无较明显变化。
H. 264/AVC, as a popular video coding standard, is of great coding performance, but lack in the complexity respect. A low complexity of the coding algorithm is presented in this paper, with the complex entropy coding replaced by mathematical model, .so that both the calculation of cost function and the encoding time are simplified. The proposed algorithm has been implemented based on the reference encoder JMS. 6. Experiment show that for a set of typical video testing sequences, the propose algorithm can efficiently reduce the computational cost by 43.37% time saving with similar PSNR and less Bit rates increasing compared with the reference software JM8.6.
