摘要
人类一直在不停歇地寻求和探索,充分显现了关注彼岸世界,力图超越此在现实的本能趋动和未来意识。文学世界中,活跃着无数永不言弃、不断探索和追求精神自新的人。中西方小说中人的寻求、探索,呈现出不同的轨迹和方向。中国人更多的是圆形循环以及对这一圈定的突破和超越,所谓的"画圆"与"破圆";西方人的探求,是开放式的、直线型行进,即便最后要面对无果而终,或者死亡、毁灭等,也始终会无悔地前行。
Humans have been seeking and probing, so as to be beyond the present instinct motivation and future consciousness. In the literal field, there are a lot of non-stopping and new-pursuing characters. In terms of seeking and probing, characters in western and Chinese novels differ from each other in their paths and directions. Characters in Chinese novels seek and probe in a circle, and they try to break away from and surpass this circle, while characters in western novels do in an open and direct way, even if they have to face a fruitless result, death or destroy.
