摘要
20世纪50年代,海峡两岸在人才选拔制度上都进入了新时期——高校统一招考制度。在特征上,主要是以统一考试为考试方式和以统一招生为招生录取方式;在源由上,它既是社会政治、经济、传统文化等外部因素的催生,更是考试制度自身发展规律的产物。这段历史对当今高等教育的改革与发展具有一定的借鉴意义。
