摘要
对于嬴姓之始祖,史载出于上古东方部族,为少昊的后裔。这是一个以鸟为图腾崇拜的部族。嬴姓之后裔之国在西周至春秋时期为诸侯者有江苏的徐国,山东的郯国、莒国,安徽的终黎国,河南境内的黄国、江国,迁至陕西的秦国。嬴姓诸氏族最初的活动地当在今天的山东地区,至夏、商时,形成了庞大的氏族集团,它与东方其他部族结合,几乎脱离夏、商两朝的控制,先秦时代统称之为"东夷"。在夏、商两朝的军事打击下,东夷诸部落为了生存,不断向南迁移至淮河流域,然后缘淮河西上,进入江苏、安徽,甚至到了河南西部地区。其中,到达西部最远者便是黄国和江国。
According to the historical records, the ancestor of the family name "Yin" comes from the eastern tribe and is the descendant of Shaohao. This is a tribe regarding bird as their totem. From Western Zhou to Spring and Autumn period, the descendants of "Yin" mainly lived in Xu statein Jiangsu, Yah and Ju states in Shandong, Li state in Anhui, and Huang an Jiang states in Henan, they moved to Qin state in Shanxi late. At first, they mainly lived in the area belong to Shandong now, and up to Xia and Shang dynasties, they formed a large clan, and mixed with the other tribes in the east and almost become independent from Xia and Shang dynasties and was called "Dongyi" in pre-qin period. Under the attack of Xia and Shang, Dongyi tribes continuously move southwards and then westward along Huaihe River to Jiangsu and Anhui, and even to the west of Henan province, including Huang and Jiang states.
