摘要
休姆作为意象派诗歌运动的领袖人物,一直以来,却被评论家忽视。本文拟对意象派早期奠基之作《秋》进行分析,进而挖掘出隐含于其中的悖论思想,以期对研究休姆起到抛砖引玉的作用。休姆《秋》一诗中的悖论不仅体现在词汇的运用上,还体现在意象塑造,意境营造,创作动机上。
As a leading figure in Imagism movement, T.E Hulme has long been neglected by critics. This paper attempts to analyze his poem Autumn, the originating one of the imagism, thus unfolding its paradoxes hidden in it, in the hope of attracting more people to study Hulme. The author thinks the paradoxes in Autumn are embodied not only in the deploying of words, but also in the shaping of images and atmosphere, as well as the creating of motive. This paper tries to make a rough analysis in these aspects, in the hope of understanding the unique poetry in inharmoniousness.
