摘要
新式银行业的产生与发展是近代金融史研究领域的热点问题之一。文章在现有文献和相关研究的基础上,考察了中国近代新式银行业的产生和渗透进程,新式银行业的总资力、经营业绩和内部结构的调整,银行业与其他金融组织的关系及其相对实力的发展变化。本文的研究表明,到20世纪三四十年代,现代经济运行所需要的银行体系已经初步形成,新式银行业在整个金融体系中取得了支配性地位,但就中国金融发展的总体水平而言,其仍然落后于英、法等主要资本主义国家半个多世纪。
The emergence and the development of the new style banking industry is one of hot topics in the modern financial history study. On the basis of the existing literature and related research, the author inspects three aspect contents of the new style banking industry from macroscopic and quantity angle ： （ 1 ） the produces with the penetration process of the new style banking industry; （2） total.solvency, operating results and the internal structure adjustment of the new style banking industry ; （3） the relation between banking and other financial organizations, as well as the changes of their relative strength. The article points out that the bank system has already initially formed to the 1930＇s and 1940＇s. At the same time, the new style banking industry has obtained the dominant status in the financial system. However, China＇s overall level of financial development is still lagging behind Britain, France and other major capitalist countries more than half a century.
