摘要
呼和浩特市新城区内蒙古博物馆前的三角地带（以下简称“西街口”）是由五条城市主干道组成的不规则型复合交叉，不同方向的车流在此处汇合，大量自行车流的存在，致使该处行车状况日趋恶化，行车速度低，行人过街不安全，交通事故时有发生。本文通过对该地区现状交通运行情况的调查和分析，提出了运用道路立体交叉改造方法改善西街口交通运输现状的设想，并提出了三个道路立体交叉渠化的改造方案，为各级领导决策提供科学的参考依据。
The delta area (hereinafter referred to as “Xijiekou”),located in front of Inner Mongolia Museum,Xincheng District,Huhhot,is an irregular compound intersection formed by five main arteries.Upon thorough investigation and analysis,a tentative plan is suggested that the situation of transportation in that area should be improved by interchange analization.Three updating programs for the reconstruction of this area are put forward.
