对海南页状粘土的工程特性进行概述，并对其成因进行探讨，从而有效地剖析海南页状粘土的物理性和力学性之间的“矛盾”
This paper describes the engineering characteristics and the cause of formation of the sheet like clay on Hainan island ,and analyzes the contradiction between the physical characteristics and mechanical characteristics.
